Wonderful Product, I bought this laptop in mid-January 2010. I'm not a lot 'of research, because I wanted a laptop that was lightweight and ultra portable, has a long battery life (10 hours) and is still fast enough for me to do software development (I am an engineer) .
I am extremely pleased with this device and can recommend it to anyone with a similar criterion for purchase. Right now I want to clarify a few things that I read in other reviews.
- Some people have reported that the battery is only 6 hours instead of the reported 10-12 hours. I disagree, as you have WiFi off, do not run heavy multimedia applications (such as watching movies) and are in power saving mode, you get 10-12 hours.
- Some people have said that the battery was loose. I noticed that even when you insert the battery, stop on the right side of the notebook. There is a small switch (next to a reading lock symbol) on the left as you manually lock. Once done, the battery is fixed and does not move at all.
